Day 1. Tour in Georgia: Mtskheta-Tbilisi (City Tour)

Day 2. Tour in Georgia: Kazbegi region

  • Breakfast in the hotel
  • Jinvali water reservoir and dam on Aragvi river- second largest hydro satation in Georgia
  • Ananuri fortress and church-XVII c. Church of Assumption, former residence of  local Duke Eristavi
  • Short stop where two rivers black and white Aragvi make confluence
  • Sky resort Gudauri
  • Georgian-Russian friendship monument- dedicated to 200 years celebration of Georgian-Russian friendship
  • Cross pass 2395 mt. ASL
  • KAzbegi glacier 5047 mt. (visible only in good weather condition)
  • Gergeti trinity church- XIV c. monastery located on 2000 mt. ASL. Ride by 4×4 vehile till monastery
  • Dariali Gorge (Great Coucasus Mountains)- Amazing landscapes along Tergi river through Dariali Gorge towards Georgian Russian border
  • Overnight in Kazbegi or Gudauri

Day 3. Tour in Georgia: Gori-Uplistsikhe-Qutaisi

  • Breakfast in the hotel
  • Stalin of museum in Gori
  • Uplistsikhe- an ancient (XV-X cc. BC.) rock-hewn town some 10 km. east of the town of Gori
  • Pottery wooden materials market on Rikoti pass
  • Prometheus caves- 1060 mt. walking rout, visitors are offered to sail by boots in underground tunnel (280 mt.)
  • Bagrati Cathedral- XI c. assumption cathedral, completely restored in 2012, UNESCO world heritage site.
  • Kutaisi city tour
  • Overnight in Kutaisi

Day 4. Tour in Georgia: Batumi

  • Breakfast in the hotel
  • Drive to Batumi
  • Cable car of Batumi
  • Botanical garden of Batumi
  • Gonio fortress
  • Overnight in Batumi

Day 5. Tour in Georgia: Batumi-Borjomi

  • Breakfast in the hotel
  • Continue to Borjomi
  • Visit history museum in Borjomi
  • The Saint George Chitakhevi Monastery founded in 9th century also called Green Monastery
  • Tasting of Borjomi mineral spring water and stroll in the park
  • Town view from the hill of Borjomi Plateau and amusement park.
  • Overnight in Borjomi or Bakuriani

Day 6. Tour in Georgia and Armenia: Borjomi -Vardzia – Gyumri

  • Breakfast in the hotel
  •  Tmogvi fortress 
  • Khertvisi  fortress – according to a legend, the first walls in this place were attacked by soldiers of Alexander the Great.
  • Cave city and monastery Vardzia – This grand monument of the Golden Age of the XIII century Georgia is closely connected with the name of Queen Tamar – the greatest monarch of Georgia.
  • Drive to the border of Armenia
  • Nearest Armenian city Gyumri.
  • Overnight in Gyumri 

Day 7. Tour in Armenia: Gyumri – Yerevan

  • Breakfast in the hotel
  • Fortress of Garni, built back in the I century BC. Armenian kings loved this place. Garni served as their residence and was the seat of royal troops.
  • Geghard monastery being partially carved out of the adjacent mountain and surrounded by cliffs.
  • Yerevan – the capital of Armenia.
  • Overnight in Yerevan

Day 8. Tour in Armenia: Yerevan - Ararat - Yeghegnadzor – Yerevan

  • Breakfast in the hotel
  • Khor Virap monastery located in the Ararat plain in Armenia
  • Near the border with Turkey and 13th century Armenian apostolic church monastery Noravanq
  • Returning to Yerevan
  • Overnight in Yerevan 

Day 9. Tour in Armenia: Yerevan - Vagarshapat – Yerevan

  • Breakfast in the hotel
  • Matenadaran – One of the largest repositories of manuscripts in the world.
  • Cathedral of Etchmiadzin – Residence of the heads of the Armenian Apostolic Church. This sacred place is surrounded by legends. It is said that the Savior himself pointed to Gregory the Illuminator as to where St. Hrypsime Church should have been erected – Hrypsime, was executed by King Tirrdat for what refusing the ruler.
  • Zvartnots – cathedral of Heavenly Angels. You can fully appreciate the beauty of this monument before leaving for the capital of Armenia
  • Overnight in Yerevan

Day 10. Tour in Armenia: Yerevan – Sevan

  • Breakfast in the hotel
  • Sevan –  the biggest lake in the Caucasus.
  • Sevanavank – monastery complex of three churches.
  • Overnight in Yerevan 

Day 11. Tour in Armenia and Georgia: Sevan - Alaverdi - Bolnisi – Tbilisi

  • Breakfast in the hotel
  • Alaverdi – The city situated in the gorge Derbet was named after a nomad Turk.
  • Crossing the border of Georgia
  • . Bolnisi Sioni – “father” of the Georgian church architecture. Its walls hold the first literary text in Georgian language and the earliest images of Bolnisi cross that adorns the Georgian flag.
  • Drive to Tbilisi
  • Overnight in Tbilisi 

Day 12. Bodbe-Sighnaghi-Tsinandali

  • Breakfast in the hotel
  • Georgian chees and bread tasting in Badiauri
  • Bodbe
  • The Monastery of St. Nino at Bodbe
  • Sighnaghi “Town Of Love”
  • Lunch and wine tasting in wine cellar “Oqro Wines”
  • Pirosmani museum
  • Alexander Chavchavadze Tsinandali house museum
  • Drive back to Sighnaghi
  • Overnight in Sighnaghi

Day 13. Tour in Georgia and Azerbaijan: Signagi – Shaki

  • Breakfast in the hotel
  • . Sheki – Narrow gorges, green valleys, pristine waterfalls and mineral springs
  • The famous Palace of the Shaki Khans is a wooden structure without a single nail! Windows of colored glass are assembled and set in delicate lattices – it must be seen!
  • “shebeke” – pictures of colorful glass connected without glue
  • Overnight in Shaki

Day 14. Tour in Azerbaijan: Shaki - Qabala – Baku

  • Breakfast in the hotel
  •  Gabala – the capital of Caucasian
  • Shemakha – fortress of the XII century and Gulistan – burial vault of seven representatives of the Shirvan Shahs dynasty await us.
  • At the end of the route – magnificent night Baku!
  • Overnight in Baku

Day 15. Tour in Azerbaijan: Baku - Absheron – Baku

  • Breakfast in the hotel
  •  Gabala – the capital of Caucasian
  • Shemakha – fortress of the XII century and Gulistan – burial vault of seven representatives of the Shirvan Shahs dynasty await us.
  • At the end of the route – magnificent night Baku!
  • Overnight in Baku

Day 16. Farewell to the South Caucasus

  • Breakfast in the hotel
  • Old quarters of Icheri Shekher takes us back in the history. While areas around them today are experiencing the Renaissance era: mosques, caravanserais, baths, houses and museums…
  • Famous Maiden Tower – Giz Galasi.
  • Palace of Shirvanshahs – Only there you can see a grape tree 30 cm. thick, surrounded by olive trees. The impressive complex was built in the XVI century. Its underground tombs and the mausoleum gate represent amazing masterpieces of oriental architecture!
  • Baku Airport.
